What flavours do you offer? 

We have NINE delicious flavours including some premium choices! Head to our flavour gallery here to choose yours! 

What sizes do you offer?

Our single tier sizes are 5, 6, 7, 8”. Giving you the option of 32-136 serves. All are 4 layers and are designed to be cut into coffee portions

Our tiered options go from 2-5 tiers. Ranging from 96-300+ serves. 

How much is a cake?

Basically it really is as simple as… how long is a piece of string?  A silly question to us bakers but maybe not to you- I get it! All Cakeup creations are custom designed so even offering a starting price can be tricky. Fill out a quote form via the website for all pricing! 

Do you have a set price list? 

No. Each of our cakes are custom quoted to suit you and your event perfectly, therefore there is no set price list. Desserts all have prices starting from $3 each and will vary, design pending. Fill out an order form to grab a quote!

I’m after something specific but I can’t see it on your website?… Can I still order it?

I’ve filled out an order form via the website, is my order confirmed? 

Not just yet! This is just a quote. No order is final until an invoice has been sent and confirmed by you with a 50% deposit paid. 

Where are you located?

We are located in Drummoyne, NSW. Just a short 10 minutes from Sydney CBD.  Delivery available far and wide!

Do you offer delivery or pickup only?

Both! Pickups are from Cakeup HQ in Drummoyne, times confirmed with your order to suit both parties. Delivery around Sydney and beyond. $50 flat fee delivery within 35km of Cakeup HQ. Extra charges will apply outside of this range. Delivery is highly recommended for all tiered cakes. 

Can you remake someone else’s design? 

No. Copying others designs is not something we do here! We do however appreciate all inspiration images of cakes (and beyond) that you are loving and will create something just for you with these in mind 🤍 

I’m not sure about my design inspo? Help!

Free rein design woo! That’s our specialty. We can help with that. Remember, inspo doesn’t have to come from other cake images. The best creations can come from a Pinterest board, your invites or even the outfit you’ve picked to wear to the event! We will work with you to create your dream sweets. 

I want to try your cakes before ordering, can I do this? 

Yes! tasting boxes are offered a few times a year and are not just for wedding couples… everyone is welcome to try them! These are limited though so make sure to keep an eye on socials for availability. @thecakeupartist on Instagram 

My wedding is a while away, can I still start an order?  

Yes. We are taking bookings until end 2024 for new couples. We are happy to start a conversation and secure your date with a small fee, working with you and your other vendors as it gets closer! 

How do I add extras to my orders? 

Simply fill out another order form and give us a heads up via email or in the comments section at the bottom of the form. Charges may apply with additional extras.  

I’d love flowers with or on my cake! 

Celebration orders: Our second love, flowers!! We work with both dried/preserved/silk and fresh under our sister company Chai Peony Blooms. Seasonal picks from the markets and subject to availability. Select add flowers to your order form and let’s make something beautiful. From $40-150+.

Engagements/Weddings: We will happily source florals for you to add to your cake on these specials days. Alternatively we love working with your chosen florists on the day as the often offer “cake flowers” for us to style with at the venue. This will often be more cost effective for you and allow your cake blooms and florals on the day to flow seamlessly! 

Last minute changes need to be made to my order, is this possible? 

Most of the time, yes! We strive to make your ordering process and cake experience as hassle free as possible. Anything we can do to help, please just reach out! We will always do our best to assist. Fees may apply. 

My delivery address has changed

Shouldn’t be a problem! No additional fees depending on our other deliveries and pickups on your event date. Please note- Change of address beyond your 35km range will incur fees outside of the flat rate. 

My event date has changed 

Please contact us asap to avoid missing out on availability for your new date. If your deposit is paid, we will do our best to prioritise your order for your new date. Deposits are non refundable however, postponing orders is welcome.  

I need to cancel my order  

We are extremely understanding after surviving a pandemic with the world as a small business. We encourage you to postpone your order and will prioritise rebooking you at a later date! If this is unsuitable, you may cancel your order; noting your 50% deposit is non refundable.
